Summary:
John currently leads Google's Canada's Omni-Channel Retail team, working with some of the largest traditional and eCommerce platforms across North America. He joined Google in 2015, after a decade with YellowPages.ca and their national digital division, Mediative.
John is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, having achieved an Honours Specialization in Political Science, along with a Major in English, as well as Minors in Biological/Medical Sciences and Economics. He is currently a member of the Publisher Council executive of IAB Canada.
He was named one of Marketing Magazine's Canadian Top 30 Under 30 in 2014, and was also recognized by Strategy Magazine’s Shopper Innovation Awards for his work on the 2012 Walmart.ca Editorial Centre project. He has been interviewed in national media including Canada AM, CTV NewsChannel, Yahoo! Finance, the Financial Post, and Global & Mail.
